Rehaz has been hairdressing for over 30 years and loves cutting and colouring hair, he has extensive knowledge in all aspects of hairdressing.
He first opened the doors of Urban Edge back in 2006, with a vision to provide a range of quality hair services in a relaxed friendly, and professional environment. The salon has gone from strength to strength and using his knowledge and expertise to open a second salon in Shenfield.
Jolene has been hairdressing for over 20 years she has a wide and varied experience in the industry. She started her career locally at Staffords in Leigh-on-Sea, she then went on to work in London for McMillans and Desmond Murray.
Whilst working for Desmond she entered the men’s British Hairdressing Awards and reached the finals, she has worked in Brighton and New York, styled hair for photoshoots for Girls Aloud and Christine Mcvie from Fleetwood Mac. Jolene then started a family and then decided to move back home to Leigh-on-Sea with her two lovely children Sid and Nancy.
Laura Has been with Urban Edge since she left school in 2009, she has lots of experience working with clients and works to a high standard in all aspects of hairdressing. Laura's strengths are precise haircutting and colouring and really enjoys doing the perfect set of hi lights.
Ashleigh has been with Urban Edge since 2019, but has worked along side Rehaz since 2013.
She's a big fan of a transformation whether that is a complete colour change, a new head of hair extensions or a slinky Keratin blow dry. Experienced in all aspects of hairdressing and has a huge love for a bouncy blow dry.
Steph has been with Urban Edge since 2016 and been in the hairdressing industry since 2009. She has a great eye for detail and has a excellent creative vision. Steph splits her time between working on her own clientele and training, sharing her knowledge and expertise with the younger members of the team.
In 2021 she completed the prestigious Goldwell Master colour Diploma an intensive award held by a select number of colourists in the UK.
Chloe has been a part of the Urban Edge team since 2016 and has worked her way up to position of Salon Manger. Her creativity is reflected in her work, and she has experience in all aspects of hairdressing.
Chloe's skill is with creative and Balayage colouring and Elumen, a range of bright colours that has no ammonia and doesn't require a skin test . In 2024 She will be furthering her knowledge and skills in hair extensions and will be able to offer more options and different methods to clients.
Elle joined Urban Edge in 2019 and has worked her way through our training program under the guidance of Steph our salon trainer. She is enjoying building up a clientele and making sure they feel and look fantastic.
Elle is excited to gain more knowledge and grow in the hairdressing industry.
Grace Holmes
New Talent Stylist
Soon to be on the floor as a new talent stylist, Grace joined us at Urban Edge in 2022. She is currently in her final steps of our training program and is very much looking forward to becoming a stylist.
One of Graces strengths is her bubbly and warm personality. She is really excited for her training course in hair extensions and to be able provide this service for clients.
